Early voting concluded on Friday with turnout surpassing the March Primary figures of 2012.

A total of …. ballots were submitted by Orange County voters during the 10-day6 early voting period, which concluded at 5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26. This surpassed the total of 5,567 ballots during the March 2012 Primary early voting period.

“We are definitely doing a lot better this early voing period,” said Tina Leverett, Orange County Election Administrator. “There has been a lot of interest in the Presidential candidates, and we have a lot of local races on the ballot which people are interested in as well.”
