New Orleans on Orleans Street Festival returns Saturday

A lesser known but extremely entertaining festival is bringing a bit of New Orleans to Southeast Texas.
The New Orleans on Orleans Street Festival, now in its third year, will be held from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday, April 23, at The Music Studio, located at 215 Orleans St., Suite 400B in downtown Beaumont.
The event will feature live music from various local artists, including Ariel Bush, Warren Rabbit, Tendo, Mars Logic, and Steve Fitzner, along with a performance by the Port Neches-Groves Jazz Band.
Along with the musical performances, guests will be treated to art, food, magic and street performances like one might encounter in New Orleans.
Now in its third year, the event benefits the small music facility and the students it instructs in learning guitar, piano, and drums, as well as voice instruction, orchestral and songwriting. The studio is open to students of all ages and experience levels.
