City of BC golf team wins annual Chamber tournament

The first place team for the annual BCCC golf tournament was The City of Bridge City team. Pictured from left are: Gerald Robinson, Bill Dixon and Jerry Jones. Not pictured Jimmy Scales.

The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce and Historical Museum held its 14th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 14, at Babe Zaharias Golf Course. Eight teams participated in the tournament with first place going to The City of Bridge City team comprised of Jerry Jones, Bill Dixon, Jimmy Scales and Gerald Robinson. The Bridge City team came in 17 under par on the 72 par course.

Closest to the Hole #2 Jerry Jones

Closest to the Hole #7 Ronald LeBlanc

Longest Putt #9 Danny Harrington

Closest to Hole #11-2nd Shot David Meaux

Closest to Hole #12 Charles Morgan

Closest to Hole #15 Jerry Jones

Long Drive Hole #18 Leonard Mosca

Thanks to Event Chairman Jerry Jones, the Chamber Ambassadors, players and sponsors, the Bridge City Chamber’s annual golf tournament is always a successful event.
