Donna Sweeney, 60, of Huffman, passed away Thursday, July 21, in Lafayette, La, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 26, at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Donna was born Feb. 18, 1956 in Pasadena. She was a loving mother of five children and 10 grandchildren. She enjoyed singing and dancing with her family and special trips to the gator farm.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband Dan Sweeney and parents, Emma Jane Fuller and Cyril James Holder and two brothers, Bubba Holder and Raymond Holder.

Survivors include her son, Brian Holder of Duson, LA; four daughters; Jamie Holder and Nicole Holder and her husband Johnathan, all of Duson, Kristin West and her husband Leonard and RaeDonna Mettey and her husband Lee, all of Orange; two sisters, Sandra Whitten of Huffman and Sondra Sweeney, both of Huffman; 10 grandchildren; Meghan Holder, Brianna Holder, Caleb Holder, Sheyanne Holder, Alexis Stotland, Kaitlyn West, Colton West, Emma Mettey, Justin Mettey and Abby Mettey.
