Helen Louise-Smith Marshall, 65, died Saturday, Aug. 6, in Beaumont. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor who enjoyed horses, collecting porcelain horses and figurines. She loved her two Pomeranians, Lancelot and Merlin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.

Helen is survived by her son, Bryan Marshall and his wife Candi, of Woodville; sister, Lenora Holst and her husband Kenny, of Vidor; brother, Larry Smith, of Austin; parents, Woodrow and Maurine Smith of Vidor and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Smith and sister, Alice Marie Reese.
