The 3rd Annual Orange County Special Angels Rodeo will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the T2 Arena and Event Center, located at 3810 Old Peveto Road in Orange. This event, which will begin at 10:00am, is truly unique.
Special Angels Rodeo is an adaptive sports rodeo planned and hosted for special needs individuals of all ages from throughout Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. The annual one-day event allows participants to become rodeo stars for a day. There are live horses from Stable Spirit for barrel racing, and specially designed or modified equipment to simulate other rodeo events, including bull riding and steer roping, in a safe and enjoyable environment. There are also carnival games, a petting zoo, wagon rides, bounce, houses, and much more. Each participant will walk away with a t-shirt, gold medal, cowboy hat, and a backpack filled with other exciting gifts.
This event more than tripled in size from its inaugural year in 2014 to 2015. The 2016 edition of the Special Angels Rodeo is in line to be even bigger and better than ever before. Come out and support the premier adaptive sports rodeo event in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, and the special needs community in this area.
