Bula Marie Barnett, 84, of China, died Sunday, December 11, 2016. She was born on January 24, 1932, to Lucy Dearbornne Kibodeaux and John Kibodeaux, in China. Bula retired as a store clerk from Kibodeaux’s.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Wayne Barnett and his wife, Suzanne, of Beaumont and Richard Allen Barnett and his wife, Cheryl, of Kountze; daughters, Patsy Ann Johnston and her husband, Mark and Sarah Kay Coe and her husband, Wesley, all of China; brothers, J.C. Kibodeaux of China and John Kibodeaux, Jr.

of Beaumont; sister, Lucille Brassier of China; grandchildren, Hannah Reaux and Matt Fracht, Kayla and Ross Fox, Travis Coe, Jennifer and Tracy Davis, Ryan and Sasha Johnston, Laura Segler and Chris Morrison, Fritzie and David Vennebush, Marcy Lindquist, Mike and Kim Smith, Stacey and Jason Smith, Katie Barnett, Bethany Murphy, Brianna Kindle, Brody Barnett, James and Ashley Blanton, Kelly and Mark Davis, Jake Getz, and Robbie Rayburn; great-grandchildren, Cade Canizales, Morgan Davis, Carley Davis, Collin Davis, Grayson Davis, Rylei Johnston, Preslei Johnston, Lyndlei Johnston, Chase Segler, Kimberly Vennebush, Kayla Vennebush, Colt Silcox, Brantley Silcox, Charley Vennebush, Trevor and Reagan Barnett, Karson Smith, Sylis Smith, Uriah Smith, Julia Smith, Isabel Smith, Carley Kindle, Bobby Kindle, Reese Barnett, Beau Barnett, Kristan Blanton, Haylee Blanton, Taylor Wortham, Camryn Wortham, Peyton Davis, Jordyn Davis, Kayla Rayburn, and Kristen Rayburn; great-great-grandchildren, Brooks Barnett, Weston Silcox, Cayson Silcox, and Braelyn Silcox; and extended family, Mike and Debra Corbello and Reagan and Michaela.

A Rosary for Mrs. Barnett will be recited at 5:00 p.m. with a gathering of her family and friends to follow Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China, with interment to follow at China Cemetery
