Dorothy Louise Hawkins, 90, of Fannett, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on August 7, 1926, in Hope, Arkansas.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Smith and her husband, Dale, of Fannett; sons, Chester Hawkins of Sour Lake and Holbert Hawkins and his wife, Vicki, of Fannett; sisters, Margie LaRocca of Lumberton and Billie Ann Perry of Beaumont; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Bammer Tucker; stepfather, Iler Tucker; husband, Lynn Heflin Hawkins; son, Lester Hawkins; and grandchildren, Mark Hawkins and Lynn Hawkins.

A gathering of Mrs. Hawkins’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
