Ronald G. Tuter, age 77 of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his home in Mauriceville, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Ida Wilson Cemetery in the Echo Community. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Ronald was born in Springfield, Missouri on January 7, 1940 to Gladys Mae Bodenhamer Tuter and Bob V. Tuter. Ronald loved his family, loved to hunt, fish and dance. He was a proud to be a member of the Millwright Local 2232. He had a great sense of humor and infectious smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob & Gladys Tuter.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Cynthia Malone Tuter of Mauriceville, TX, four sons Ronald Wayne Tuter of Mauriceville, TX, Robert Cornsilk and his wife Kim of Little Cypress, TX, Charles Cornsilk of Mauriceville, TX and Huey Malone and his wife Jill of New Caney, TX. Five daughters; Maranda Sanford and her husband Ron of Cullman, AL, Ruth Irons and her husband Mike of Sanger, TX, Molly Malone of Little Cypress, TX, Julie Dugas and her husband Jim of Little Cypress, TX and Trudy Armstong and her husband Stan of Orange, TX. Two brothers, Bobby Dean Tuter and his wife Edith of Hemphill, TX and James Roy Tuter and his wife Jan of Buna, TX. Three sisters; Linda Chrishop and her husband Sonny of Springhill, FL, Pam Strohm and her husband Harvill of Little Cypress and Debra Williams and her husband Ron of Little Cypress, TX. Two grandsons, John Tuter and his wife Kellie of Bridge City, TX and Chad Tuter and his wife Starla of Bridge City, TX. One great grandson Xander Kade Tuter.

As well as many loved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Tuter, Chad Tuter, Ron Tuter, Charlie Cornsilk, Robert Cornsilk and Joe Tuter, Jr.

The family would like to thank Ryan, Joy, Dana, Sarah and Ava of Best Hospice Care of Texas and Dr. Palumbo for their wonderful care and support.
