The City Pinehurst will observe National Police Week starting Sunday, 5/14/2017 through Saturday, 5/20/2017 with Police Officer’s Memorial Day being Monday, May 15, 2017.

On Monday, May 15th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. the City of Pinehurst will hold a short ceremony at the flag pole in front of the Pinehurst City Hall located at 2497 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. All are invited to attend. The ceremony has been planned and organized to help recognize ALL police officers including those killed in the line of duty.

City Administrator Robbie Hood encourages everyone to come out to support our police officers and wants everyone to know the sacrifice they make. The ceremony will last about 10 minutes.
