The City of Orange Convention & Visitors Bureau will be hosting the 4th Annual “Shootout on the Sabine” DSRA Drag Boat Races.

The event will be held Saturday, May 20 from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Sunday, May 21 from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.

There will be no charge to attend this family friendly event.

This event will include 50 to 60 racers from Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Depending on the classification, speeds of more than 100 mph are possible and are sure to entertain those of all ages.

Food, drink, and adult beverage vendors will be on site serving fajitas, nachos, beignets, links, red beans and rice, corn on the cob, and much more.

There will be a children’s activity area, which will include a dunking booth, bungee jumper, and carnival games.

Craft vendors will also be on site.

Live entertainment by Jamie Bergeron & Kickin Cajuns will begin at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.

Please note, no pets and no coolers will be allowed at the City of Orange Boat Ramp.
