Several members of the Bridge City High School cheerleaders toured Honolulu and attended cheering camps June 27-July 8.

 Seniors Blair Bishop, Jordan Cricchio, Olivia Hubbard, Bria Thibodeaux, Lindsay Willey and junior Brooklyn Hogden were chosen to attend the prestigious cheer camp at the University of Hawaii with only 70 girls chosen over the U.S. Also attending was Coach Michelle Huff.

The girls were instructed in cheers, chants, dances, stunts, leadership skills and preparation for college cheer; and toured Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Culture Center, a luau and several beaches such as Waikiki, North Shore and Kailua.

Additionally, Thibodeaux was chosen as leader from her “Flower Lei” team, one of highest honors at Cheer Hawaii USA.
