In his third year at the helm, Orangefield’s Coach Chris Jost is seeking at least a share of the District Championship for the third season in a row. Lady Cats defeated Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday 36-28. Orangefield took the early lead in the first period of play 11-6. The Lady Longhorns didn’t give it up easily, tied 15-15 at the half, staying close, 24-21 at the end of the third period.

Friday, Orangefield Lady Cats took down West Orange-Stark 45 to 34 in the second round of district play.

For West Orange-Stark, topping the board was: Winbush 17; Heard 15.

The Lady Cats will host Hardin Jefferson for a rematch on Friday night for the final home game of the season.
