The fifth annual community Christmas program, “The Light of the World,” will be held Dec. 6, beginning at 7 p.m.

at Bridge City Middle School.

The Christmas presentation is coordinated by Terri Gauthier, creator of Project GLOW, (Go Light Our World), designed to give the youth in our community the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to benefit others who are less fortunate.

All proceeds for the Christmas program will go to our Bridge City/Orangefield Ministerial Alliance.

Project GLOW is a community holiday tradition with a beautiful Christmas presentation, illustrating the true meaning of Christmas.

Performing in this year’s program will be the Bridge City Strutters, Orangefield Sophisticats, Excel Dancers, Bridge City and Orangefield High School choirs, the First Baptist Pre-K choir, the Community School Freshman Youth Group, and a special performance from our Bridge City.

P.T.A. The Ministerial Alliance is a non-profit organization designed to give financial assistance to indigent families in our community throughout the year.

They also provide clothing, shoes, food, and medical assistance.

The Ministerial Alliance is supported financially by monthly donations, love offerings and projects, such as “The Light of the World” Christmas presentation.

Tickets for the program are $5, and will be sold at the door.
