Norman Luke Boudreaux Jr., 85, passed away on Sunday, Dec 30, 2007, in Kansas City, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Jan. 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange, with Rev. Joseph P. Daleo to officiate.

Graveside service and interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville, at 3:00 p.m.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Norman was born August 11, 1922, in Perry Landing, and was the son of Norman Luke and Louise Jolet Boudreaux of Huntsville.

Norman served in the Navy Air Corp. during WWII in the South Pacific.

At the time of his retirement from DuPont, he worked as an electrician and instrument pre-planner in the ADN department.

He was a resident of Orange, Sulphur, LA and Kansas City, MO. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, Scout Master of Troop 1, an Eucharistic Minister, an active member of St. Mary Athletic Association, and a member of the Orange Community Band.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Elaine Boudreaux; second wife, Dorothy Boudreaux; son Gerry Boudreaux and loving friend and companion, Helen Lynch of Kansas City, who passed away only hours before him.

He is survived by his sons and stepsons, Arthur Joseph Boudreaux and wife Shirley of Orange, Vincent Clay Boudreaux of Kansas City, MO, Craig Gilbeaux of New Orleans, LA and Keith Gilbeaux of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Greg Boudreaux, Julie Boudreaux Agee, and Sara Boudreaux; step-grandchildren, Johnny Gilbeaux and Missy Gilbeaux and great-grandchildren, Shelby Agee, Savannah Agee and Jeri Dawn Agee; cousin, Georgia May Hughes of Lufkin; niece, Emma Louise Leining of Pittsburg,Tx and extended family member, Dorothy Pledger of Houston.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Agee, Robert Pledger, Joe Luna Jr., Larry Bourliea, Arthur Boudreaux, Greg Boudreaux and Vincent Boudreaux.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Harold Hughes, Joseph Luna Sr.

and Wilson Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Mary Catholic School Fund, 2600 Bob Hall Rd., Orange, TX, 77630.
