Logan Force, 7,  was one of nearly 300 Bridge City and Orangefield youngsters to sign up Saturday for the upcoming Bridge City Little League 2008 baseball and softball season. Registration will continue next weekend, Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Bridge City Community Center.

The Bridge City Little League has undergone an expanded new program that ranges in ages from little T-Ballers to a new bracket for boys 15-16 year olds.

"We’ll probably register nearly 600 kids next weekend," said BCLL Vice President Jerry McInnis. "We have a bracket for every age group."

Youngsters from other area school districts are invited to become a part of the Bridge City Little League program, McInnis said.

The league has enlarged it’s Junior League field for a new division that was once the Pony League.
