Garnet Yvonne Parker, 69, of Orange, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 14, at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Orange. The Rev. Bill Phillips will officiate.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.

Garnet was born February 17, 1938, in Hillsboro, Ohio, to Chester and Mary Rose Smith.

Garnet was loved dearly by the members of St. Paul Episcopal Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, The Rev. Robert C. Parker; sons, William Parker of Austin and Christian Parker of Orlando, Fla.
