Charles Robert, “Bobby” Ham, 58, of Orange passed away, Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Houston.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm., Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the North Orange Baptist Church. Officiating will be Reverend Scott McIntosh, pastor of North Orange Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008.

Bobby was born February 7, 1949, in Nacogdoches, Texas to C.A. and Diamond Joy (Herring) Ham. He worked as an Information Technology Manager for DuPont.

Bobby was a member of the North Orange Baptist Church, Lions Club of Orange and Gideons International. He was very active with his church,

loved spending time with his children, was also very involved with their sports, and was an avid car enthusiast.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bobby is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rebecca Burkes Ham, four sons; Robert Slade Ham of Los Angeles, CA, Jeremy Landon Ham and wife Cyndi of Houston, Brandon Blake Ham, and Hunter Cole Ham both of Beaumont, and two daughters; London Rebecca Ham and Madison Nicole Ham both of Orange.

Also surviving him is one grandchild, Kennedy Marie Ham and brother, Dale Ham and wife Judy of Terrell, Texas.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Charles’ memory to the American Cancer Society or the Gideons International.
