Students at North Early Learning Center took part in a silent peace march today in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each class carried a banner honoring the civil rights leader. Students also wore PEACE and/or Dove headbands. Some carried photographs or artwork.

Following the silent march, the students assembled in the gym and sang “War and Peace,” “Happy Birthday,” “Dr. King,” and “There Was a Man.”

They also viewed the short film which depicted Dr. King’s childhood.
