Beverley Marguerite Lee, 78, of Orange, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 in Orange. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Dr. Keith Manning, pastor of the Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Texas. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Born on March 13, 1929 in Orange, Texas to Clyde E. and Marguerite (Upton) Folks, she was a lifelong resident of the Orange area, retired as a switchboard operator from the Firestone Polymers Plant in Orange after 20 years of service. Prior to working at Firestone, she was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for some local doctors and hospitals and she was a member of the North Orange Baptist Church in Orange.

Beverley is preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and many other extended family members. She is survived by her son, Obie Lee, Jr.; granddaughters, Jennifer York and husband Phillip of Orange, Jacqueline Lee of Arcata, California and Jessica Lee of Ventura, California; great grandsons, Mason and Preston York and cousins, Sherry Gault of Montgomery, Texas and Candy Shank of Virginia.
