Five new classes have been added to the Lamar State College-Orange continuing education and workforce development schedule for Feb. They are: “Spring Wreath Making,” Tuesday, Feb. 26, 5-7:30 p.m.; “Line Dancing,” Tuesdays, Feb. 26-Mar. 18, 7-9 p.m.; “Belly Dancing,” Thursdays, Feb. 28-April 3, 6:45-7:45 p.m.; “Wilton Course I Cake Decorating,” Thursdays, Feb. 7-28, 6-8 p.m.; and “Conversational Spanish for the Health Care Professional,” Saturdays, Feb. 2-Mar. 9, 9-11 a.m.

Also included in the schedule are “Conversational Spanish II,” Mondays, Feb. 4-Apri 14, 6-8 p.m. and “Step Aerobics, Cardio Mix and Muscle Toning,” which meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This is an ongoing class and students may join at any time.

Computer technology offerings for the month include “Intro to Word Part 1,” Tuesday, Feb. 5, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; “Intro to Word Part 2,” Thursday, Feb. 7, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; “Intro to the Internet,” Tuesday, Feb. 12, 4-7 p.m.; “Intro to Excel Part 1,” Wednesday, Feb. 13, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; “Intro to Excel Part 2,” Thursday, Feb. 14, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; “Intro to PowerPoint,” Wednesday, Feb. 20, 5:30-8:30 p.m. and “Intro to Publisher,” Thursday, Feb. 21, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Workforce development opportunities include “Massage Therapy CEU: Advance Business Practices,” Saturdays, Feb. 2 and 9, 8-11 a.m.; “QuickBooks Pro 2007-Beginning,” Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 20 and 21, 1-5 p.m. and “First-Line Leadership Program-Module 1: Traits of Leaders,” Monday, Feb. 25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
