2008 Keep Texas Beautiful Awards Call for Entries Keep Texas Beautiful, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to litter prevention, beautification, and waste reduction, is accepting nominations for its 2008 Awards through Tuesday, February 19, 2008.

The Keep Texas Beautiful Awards recognize the efforts made by individuals and groups to enhance their community and protect the Lone Star State’s environment.

Awards are given in categories honoring individuals, senior citizens, law enforcement officers, civic organizations, government departments, businesses, and media outlets.

Youth awards are handed out as well, with a nominations deadline in May. Award winners will be recognized at the 41st Annual Keep Texas Beautiful Conference this June in Irving.
