West Orange – Stark High School Science Teacher Michael Washburn has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the Texas Exes Association.

Washburn was presented with the certificate by WO-S High Principal Mike Mason at the Monday, Jan. 28 meeting of the West Orange – Cove Board of Trustees.

The Texas Exes Association recognition honors Washburn’s value as an exceptional individual and teacher who has made a significant contribution to the community.

Washburn was nominated by WO-S Principal Mike Mason for Outstanding High School Teacher recognition.
