Well, we made it through the Holidays and now we are in a New Year! 2008, should be great...that is what I am proclaiming.
This is an exciting time to get ready for the new growth and a beautiful spring, and we can also get ready for new growth here in our great city as well as new changes coming on the horizon.
One of the first things is we are gathering a “Bridge City Beautification” Committee and we NEED YOU! If you would like to be a part of this, please contact me at the Chamber office so that we can get you plugged in with the committee.
This committee will help head up the “Welcome to Bridge City” sign by Cow Bayou Bridge.
Here are a few reminders of upcoming events that the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting this 1st half of 2008: The February Coffee will be held on February 13th at Luv Lingerie at 8 a.m.
and we will honor our Business, Employee and Students of the Month The March Coffee will be held on March 12th at the Sabine House Assisted Living Center in Orange and again, our Business, Employee, and Student’s of the Month will be honored On March 15th we will be hosting our Annual Little Miss/Mr. Bridge City Pageant at the Bridge City Middle School.
This pageant is for Bridge City / Orangefield ISD students only.
Ages included are 0 – 14 yrs old girls and 0 – 4 yrs old boys.
Registration ends on March 3rd for both Photogenic Contest and pageant registration.
Call Janelle or Tracy at 735-5671 if you need to make an appointment for after regular business hours to get registered.
Remember that the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce not only needs business and corporate membership, but individuals are welcome to join.
Our city’s commerce is about “you” the citizen as well as our local business and corporate entities.
