Faynelle Mulhollan, 64, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Orange. A home going celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Drake Memorial Presbyterian Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Connie S. Alexander, pastor. Interment will follow in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in the McLewis community of Orange. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday at the church. Services are under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.

Born on March 20, 1943 in Orange, Texas to Harold and Helen (Smith) Mulhollan, she was a lifelong resident of Orange, graduated from the Chenier Business College in Orange and was a secretary with Southeast Texas Industries in Buna. Ms. Mulhollan loved to fish, enjoyed taking cruises with her family, she was the ultimate mouseketeer, and she was a very dedicated and faithful elder at the Drake Memorial Presbyterian Church in Orange, where she followed in the footsteps of her aunt, Nelda Clark. Ms. Mulhollan was also an obnoxiously proud grandmother and enjoyed telling jokes; she was commonly referred to as the David Letterman of Southeast Texas.

Mulhollan is preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Nelda Clark.

Those who will most cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa Heiner and husband Mike of Orange and Lynda Willie and husband Barry of Orange; honorary daughter, Linda Brackin of Orange; son, Bennett Teer and wife Melinda of Sour Lake; sister, Carol Crank and husband Albert of Lumberton; grandchildren, Jennifer Tourtelotte, Amy Heiner, Alyssa Willie, Olivia Willie, Alexander Willie, Stefani Teer, Ashley Teer and Maura Teer; great-grandson, Andrew Barrett Tourtelotte; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Drake Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4647 North 16th Street, Orange, Texas 77632.
