The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce namedCheylyn LeBeouf as the winner of the Student of the Month Program for February.

Cheylyn is a student at Deweyville High School. She is a very bright and active student. Cheylyn is a member of the Spanish Club, the Book Club and also a member of the National Honor Society. She ranks second in her class and plans on attending Lamar University-Orange and major in medical technology. LeBeouf was on the homecoming court and was a Prom Princess. She participates in UIL one-act plays and E-trees.

Cheylyn was recognized on Feb. 19 by Mary McKenna, Chairperson of the GOACC Education Committee and by other members of the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. She received gift certificates from GOACC and Casa Ole’, gift baskets from Heaven Sent Florist and Lamar State College-Orange, as well as a drink of her choice from the Jumping Bean.
