Mable Andress, 82, of Orange , passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 at The Meadows in Orange . Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with Reverend John Brunette of Buna, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in the McLewis community of Orange . Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born of June 19, 1925 in Nacogdoches County, Texas to John William and Hattie Lee (Sharp) Morgan, she was a lifelong resident of the Orange area, she was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Andress enjoyed dancing, going fishing and crabbing and she was a very easy going person and a wonderful grandmother.
Mrs. Andress is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin “Dauge” Andress, her son, Bobby Joe Wimberly and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her granddaughters, Trina Norwood and husband Jimmy of Orangefield and Stacy Tilley and husband Wendell of Little Cypress; great grandchildren, Chad Norwood of Orangefield and Kaycie and Kellie Tilley both of Little Cypress; very special friends, Sonya Higginbotham and her son Wesley of both of Orangefield; brother, Bill Morgan and wife Vivian of San Augustine, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The family wishes to express many thanks to the staff of Odyssey Healthcare Hospice in Beaumont for the help and care they gave to Mrs. Andress during her final days. The family also wishes to thank Regina LeBlanc for her kindness and care of Mrs. Andress.
