Jeanette Marie LeBlanc, 68, of Orangefield, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in a local care facility.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.  Officiating will be Reverend Forrest Wood, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Orangefield.  Interment will follow services in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in the McLewis community of Orange.  Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Jeanette was born on January 15, 1940 in New Iberia, Louisiana to Eustice and Jean (Bouillion) Comeaux, she was a longtime resident of the Orangefield community, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tonya Kaye LeBlanc; grandson, Justin Allen LeBlanc; sister, Diane Domingue and brother, Roy Comeaux.  Those who will most cherish her memory are the love of her life for 49 years, her husband, Walter LeBlanc, Sr. of Orangefield; sons, Walter LeBlanc, Jr. of Orangefield and Ronald LeBlanc of Bridge City; daughters, Tina Tarver of Orange, Mary Richard and husband Brent, Sr. of Mauriceville and Cathy Jordan of Beaumont.  Grandchildren, Ron, Shala, Regina, Damien and Monique LeBlanc, April Green and husband Terrance, Brent Richard, Jr. and wife Bailey and Brandon and Amanda Richard.  Thirteen great- grandchildren with two more being expected soon; sisters, Dot Landry and husband Warren of Orange, Pat Ledet and husband Roland of Port Acres and Gaynelle Lapointe and husband Gladman of Clute, Texas and her very special friend, Media Boswell of Vidor. 

Pallbearers are Ron LeBlanc, Damien LeBlanc, Brent Richard, Jr., Brandon Richard, Eric Lapointe and Troy Landry.  Honorary pallbearers are Roy Hoffpauir and Michael Hebert.  The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Oakwood Manor in Vidor for their loving care of Jeanette during her final days.
