Texas Star Charity Pageant benefits Angela Brown of Mauriceville
On Saturday the 21st of June the Texas Star Charity Pageant held a successful benefit for 12 year old Angela Brown of Mauriceville Texas. Angela has been diagnosed with a rare genic disorder called Scwachman-Diamond Syndrome. It affects many organs of the body. Angela has already had both a bone marrow and a liver transplant, and is waiting on her second bone marrow transplant.
55 beautiful contestants ages birth through adult competed for various prizes. Every contestant entered was awarded a trophy and crown for their help in making this years event a success. The contestant who raised the most money for the family was 5 year old Kadence Williams who sold $780 raffle tickets. She was awarded the title of Texas Star Supreme Queen, a rhinestone sash, 6 foot trophy, and a crown that measures 13 ½ inches tall. Other top sellers were Kylee and Makenzie Freemen, Kayla Smith, and Lauren Corrao.
More winners of the event are as follows: Texas Star King is J’son Miles. Texas Star Queens are Tristah Fontnot, Lexi Smith, Breanna Shafer, Daisey Cutchins, Emrald Mason, Amy Prementer, Ashlyn Daspit, Christin Wise, Jalena Jones, and Chandra Smith.
The Sweetheart Queens were awarded to Gracie Wortham and Tristah Fontnot.
All Texas Star and Christmas Star Charity Pageants are judged by different judges and all contestants receive an award. We want to thank everyone who made this special event a success.
