Those Still Without Power Encouraged to Call in
Power restoration remains on the fast track in Southeast Texas. More than 35,000 customers have had power restored out of the 37,000 Entergy Texas customers left without electricity early Tuesday by Tropical Storm Edouard.
Of those without power, the majority are in Jefferson County where 1,817 were without power shortly after 8 a.m. today.
Entergy Texas officials request that customers still without power call the company to report it. Although the company’s technology automatically captures outages, it is possible that a few may be missed.
The number to call to report outages, or to report a downed power line, is 1-900-9-OUTAGE, or 1-800-968-8243.
Entergy Texas expects to have power restored to almost all customers by late today.
