Dyann Rene Schisler
Dyann Rene Schisler, 43, of Bridge City, passed away, Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at UTMB Hospital in Galveston.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Reverend David Green of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Bridge City will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dyann was born December 19, 1964, in Orange to Dell Ray and Bettie Louise (Carroll) Lumpkin.
Dyann was a bus driver for disabled children in the Orangefield ISD for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, where she served as a nursery attendant for several years.
Dyann attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles and Chenier Business School in Beaumont. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and Louise Carroll, Brownie & Birdie Lumpkin and Helen Green.
She is survived by her husband, William Schisler of Bridge City, parents, Dell Ray and Bettie Lumpkin of Shelbyville, TX and mother and father-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Schisler of Bridge City; children, Adam C. Schisler and wife Tara, Roland C. Schisler, Kristina R. Schisler, and Alan D. Green all of Bridge City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Trina and Randy Reagan of Santa Fe, TX, Dell & Jay Roach of Texas City, sisters-in-law, Charlene Stockton of Bridge City, Dorothy Pagel of Orangefield and nieces and nephews, Justin Schirck, Jerrod Schirck and Morgan Roach, Aaron Reagan, Sarah Hardwick; Jessica, Samantha, Derek, Mandy and Marissa and all of her special aunts and uncles.
Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Schisler, Roland Schisler, Alan Green, Justin Schirck, Chuck Holbrook and Jared Hutchison. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerrod Schirck, Jerry Evoritt, Jay Roach and Randy Reagan.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Reverend David Green and the entire church family at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Bridge City for their love and support through the years.
