Dwayne Terrance LeBlanc, 41, of the McLewis Community, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in Beaumont.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange under direction of Dorman Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Phelan served as celebrant. Interment was in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A rosary was said by Deacon Harvey Dubois.

Born Oct. 5, 1966, in Orange to Derald David and Betty Dean (Vincent) LeBlanc, he was a lifelong resident of Orange, graduated from Orangefield High School and worked as a winemaker for the Piney Woods Winery in Orange under direction of Alfred Flies.

Dwayne was much of a happy-go-lucky kind of man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephews. He will be dearly missed and remembered for his kind heart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Netty Roy LeBlanc, and maternal grandparents Nolan and Pearly Vincent.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his parents; his brothers, David and Darren LeBlanc both of Orange; his sisters, Dana LeBlanc of Orange, Dena LeBlanc of Orange and Donna Darby and husband Craig of Orange. Paternal grandmother, Helen Broussard and her husband John of Morse, La.

Pallbearers included Donald Vincent, Robert Vincent, William Winfree, Brian Vincent, Wayne Harrison and Gregory Gravett.

Honorary pallbearers were his nephews, Micah Meranda, Troy LeBlanc, Trace LeBlanc, Coy Darby and Clay Darby.
