Special activities to start the Holiday season
Mauriceville Elementary held special activities before dismissing for the Thanksgiving holiday. Mrs. Sharon Bussell’s Kindergarten dressed up as a “tribe of little Indians.” They painted their faces and earned Thanksgiving beads and headbands including feathers for good things done throughout the day. Mrs. Peddy’s Kindergarten class also participated dressing as Indians.
Students celebrated the 50th day of school by dressing the part to participate in 50s era activities like hula-hooping, a sock-hop, and listening to 50s music. Mrs. Bussell and Gracie Donnaud were dressed somewhat alike in their 50s attire.
