Funeral services for Mr. Bobbie Glen Hebert, known to his friends as “Hillbilly,” were Jan. 10, 2009, in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville. Interment was in St. Leo Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Domingue celebrated Mass. A rosary was held in the funeral home. Arrangements were under direction of Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, La.
Local arrangements were by Dorman Funeral Home. Mr. Hebert died at the age of 56 on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, in his residence. He was a truck driver for many years. He loved being with his family and friends and fishing and boat riding. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anne Marie Belair Hebert of Orange; two sons: Bobby Gene Hebert of Broussard; and Chad Glenn Hebert of Krotz Springs; three daughters: Tonya Trahan of Orange; Chassie Lefleur of Leonville; and Amanda Friar of Orange; one brother, Allen Ray Hebert of Port Barre; four sisters: Judy Leger of Mamou; Allison Vidrine of Opelousas; Mona Sylvester of Opelousas; and Billie Jo Vidrine of Port Barre; 11 grandchildren and godchild, Paula Leger of Opelousas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Allen Joseph Hebert and Nita Louise Richard Hebert; brother, Randy Hebert; and nephew Brant Vidrine. Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at
