Citizen complaints lead to drug arrests
Undercover operations in Orange County net five drug related arrests and one on outstanding warrants.
According to Det. Chad Hogan of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies, along with the Orange Police Dept. were performing undercover operations Wednesday, Jan. 28, in the Roselawn area and the east side of the city. These areas were targeted due to citizen’s complaints about drug activities occurring.
During these investigations, three arrests were made for the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance; one arrest of possession of a controlled substance; one arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia; and one arrest for outstanding warrants.
“All of the people arrested were transported to the Orange County Jail for booking. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will continue to diligently combat the drug activities that occur in the neighborhoods and other areas of Orange County,” stated Hogan.
