Tina Ann LaFleur Bandeau
Tina Ann LaFleur Bandeau, 46, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Christus Hospital- St. Mary in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, in Dorman Funeral Home.
Officiating will be the Revs. Rudy Elizondo and Bobby Granger. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Born on April 1, 1963 in Orange to Herman and Grace (Guillory) LaFleur, she was a lifelong resident of the Orange area, she attended the Well of Hope Church in Bridge City and worked as a home care provider for Home Health Home Care. Tina was a very loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she was very dedicated to the care of her family, often putting others before herself and she enjoyed camping and fishing.
Preceded in death by her parents, her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marie Guillory; her paternal grandparents, Octave and Otis LaFleur; her sister, Linda Sexton, her in-laws, Edward J. Bandeau Sr. and Betty Faye (Roach) Bandeau; her sister-in-law, Laura Duplein; her nephew, R.J. LaFluer and her dear friends, Odies and Lucas Vines.
Those who will most cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 29 years, Jay Bandeau Jr. of Orange; her sons, Jay Bandeau III and his wife Leia and Raymond Bandeau all of Orange; granddaughter, Jaelyn Bandeau of Orange; her sisters, Debbie Guillory and her husband Guy of Orange, Sandra Williams and her husband Lewis of Nederland, Barbara Rhodes and her husband Gary of Orangefield and Wendy Lawrence of Orange; her brother, Ricky LaFleur and his wife Becky of Orangefield; her brothers-in-law, Richard Bandeau and his wife Melinda of Lacassine, La., and Jacob Bandeau of Lafayette, La.; her sisters-in-law, Sheryl Guillory and her husband David Pedder of Orange and Annette Miller and her husband Dale of Orange; her cousins, Pam Guillory Martin and her husband James and Susan Guidry; her dear friends, Lisa Vines, Elizabeth Vines and Marcus Vines and his wife Tara.
Tina is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In the spirit of giving as was a desire of Tina, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org or the family has asked that anyone can continue to practice works of charity and kindness toward those in need.
