Alayna Anne Walles wed Kenneth Wayne George Jr., Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 in an outdoor double ring ceremony at Inn on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The Rev. Johanna Gardner officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Charlotte Walles of Orangefield and the granddaughter of Bob and Betsy Watts of Vidor, Helen Clark of Orangefield and the late Hilton Walles.

The groom is the son of Kenneth and Latricia George of Dayton and grandson of Joyce and the late Vernon Polk of Midway, Ray and Betty Joe George of Dayton.

Attending the bride was her sister, Hannah Walles, as maid of honor and best friend, Shanda Maddox, as matron of honor. The bride’s brother, Ben Walles, was best man. The couples 7 month old son, Hayden Wayne George, was best baby and ring bearer.

The wedding was attended by close family. A large reception for friends and family is planned for a later date, along with a honeymoon in Jamaica next May.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Orangefield High School and graduated as an esthetician from Lamar, May, 2009.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Dayton High School and will graduate as an electrical engineer from Lamar in May, 2010. The couple resides in Vidor.
