‘Thib’ roast deadline nears
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the sixth Orange County Celebrity Roast, on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m., at the Bridge City Community Center. On the platter is Orange County Judge Carl Thibodeaux.
A line up of roasters are eager to take their jabs at Thibodeaux and await his rebuttal. The bantering is all part of an evening of fun and entertainment.
All proceeds go to benefit the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce.
It all takes place on the birthday of Judge Thibodeaux. To celebrate it he faces his children, Erin Davison, Tanya Molley and son Tyler Thibodeaux as roasters. Judge Buddy Hahn, Bridge City Mayor Kirk Roccaforte and longtime newspaper publisher Roy Dunn are also among his friends and roasters. Master of Ceremoinies is Gary Stelly.
The affair will also feature an ‘all you can eat’ chicken and sausage or seafood gumbo. Cold beer and wine will also be served. Everyone gets birthday cake.
Seating is limited for this classic event. General admission is $100 with table sponsorships going fast. Each table comes with Cajun decor and gifts. Names of sponsors will be engraved on a plaque and permanently displayed at the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce.
The Cajun theme is reflected in the sponsorships. The front row Les Acadians tables sit 10 guests and includes 2 commemorative centerpieces, plus 10 souvenir Koozies and recognition. It also affords the best view. The Cajun table sits eight and includes the same with 8 souvenir Koozies. The Creole tables seat four with the one centerpiece and the extras. An honorary Cajun gets a table for two with extras and recognition.
