Woman charged with public intoxication
Officer Leonard Roff of the Pinehurst Police Department on Oct. 3 arrested Jamie Lynn Hyatt in the 1600 block of Strickland Drive, charged with public intoxication, according to a release from Pinehurst police Chief Fred Hanauer III.
Three days later on Oct. 6, following a traffic stop, police reports show that Hyatt was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for fraudulent use of identifying information. Her age is listed as 27 and 25.
Those arrests followed the arrest on Sept. 27 of Jerrod Jermaine Ford, 30, on charges of marijuana possession and for an outstanding warrant. Officer Mike Dempsey conducted a search in the 3800 block of Pheasant Street.
In other reports:
• Oct. 1: A woman reported one of her employees committed a theft at her business on Strickland Drive. In another incident that day, police were told that a car was burglarized in the 3300 block of W. Park Ave. A GPS unit was stolen.
• Sept. 30: A man reported that a known friend of his family has used his ID information to obtain credit.
• Sept. 28: A woman reported a disturbance that at 3801 Pheasant, alleging that her boyfriend assaulted her and caused minor injuries. In another incident, police arrested 35-year-old Kevin Fitzgerald Franklin, on a parole warrant violation. They also arrested Lisa Grantham, 21, on two outstanding warrants including no insurance.
• Sept. 27: Two car burglaries were reported in the 1800 block of Camelot.
