Marie Arnall, 92, died in Lufkin on Dec. 13. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at Orange Forest Lawn Memorial Park in West Orange with the Rev. Sharon Turner officiating.

She was a long-time resident of Orange and for 35 years taught in area schools, retiring from Lutcher Stark High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Orange.

Mrs. Arnall was born in Junction City, Ark. on Aug. 11, 1917, the oldest child of Alfred Marshall Risinger and Dena Pickard Risinger. She grew up in Tenaha, Texas and graduated from Tenaha High School. She held degrees from Stephen F. Austin University, Lamar, and the University of Houston. An enthusiastic bridge player, she received the Life Master award from the American Contract Bridge League. 

Mrs. Arnall is survived by her two children and their spouses, Tom and Sherry Arnall of Lufkin and Dena and Larry Harrison of Austin; two grandchildren, Jill Harrison Vassar and husband, George, of San Antonio and Matthew Harrison and wife, Polly, of Dallas; five great-grandchildren; one niece, two nephews and a number of cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd T. Arnall, whom she married on April 10, 1943; her sister, Dixie R. Moore; and her brothers, David C. Risinger, Darwin A. Risinger, Harry R. Risinger, and Howard D. Risinger.
