Jacqueline “Jackie” Riley Bean, 77, of Orange died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 in Orange. Funeral services will be held 10  a.m., Monday, Feb. 22,  at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.  Officiating will be the Rev. Kevin Brown of First Baptist Mauriceville. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Jackie was born on Nov. 10, 1932 in Wylie. She was the daughter of Clarence and Mary M. (Woodard) Riley.  She worked as a legal secretary for Stephenson Law Firm for 32 years and for U.S. Federal Judge Joe Fisher for over 15 years.  Jackie was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 2775.  She was a caregiver for her family and also took care of her husband for several years during his illness. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Len Bean; and daughter, Linda Bean Vermoch.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Bean of Orange; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kelly Hernandez of Dickinson; grandchildren, Brain Vermoch, Patrick Hernandez, Bret Alan Bean, Michael Hernandez, and Elise Hernandez; and sister, Geraldine Brunett of Seattle, Wash.
