The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed AT&T’s new retail store in Orange with a ribbon-cutting at 2292 MacArthur Drive.

The store features a hands-on design to engage customers and provide a “try before you buy” service experience. Trained sales consultants will provide demonstrations of a wide range of products, including High Speed Internet. Shoppers can also test out various advanced wireless data applications including GPS navigation, side-loading music or managing photos.

“We are focused on making our customers’ in-store experience exceptional, and that begins with a convenient store location, simplistic layout and knowledgeable staff,” said Chris Penrose, vice president and general manager for AT&T’s wireless operations in South Texas. “Customers can try out our newest line-up of quick messaging devices and smartphones when they visit this location.”

The Orange store is led by managers Richard Harris and Bob Peterson, plus a staff of five employees trained to assist customers with purchasing decisions, customer service and technical support.
