The 100 Club of Southeast Texas is an organization that provides financial assistance and other support for the families of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and public emergency medical technicians who have fallen in the line of duty. It was recently expanded from serving Jefferson and Hardin Counties alone to include Orange County responders. The Stark Foundation granted an amount of $11,000 to bring the Orange County contribution to $50,000, which was the contribution amount required for Orange County to join the 100 Club of Southeast Texas.

“As a member of the 100 Club of Southeast Texas, Orange County emergency responders are now eligible for a $50,000.00 death benefit if fallen in the line of duty,” said Chief Frenzel. “But for the generosity of the Stark Foundation -- the largest single sponsor for Orange County contribution -- this benefit would not be a reality for our responders.”

To help the 100 Club of Southeast Texas and support its mission of assisting the families of fallen first responders, you can join for a contribution of $100 by contacting the group at (409) 893-5444 or by finding them on Facebook at 100 Club of Southeast Texas.
