Jasper Vick Cuccia Jr.
Jasper Vick Cuccia Jr., 76, of Orange, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Baptist Orange Hospital. A graveside service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Officiating will be the Rev. Kevin Trinkle, chaplain of Baptist Orange Hospital.
Born in Port Arthur on Sept. 19, 1933, Jasper was the son of Mary Kate Miller and Jasper Vick Cuccia Sr. Vick served in the U.S. Marines, worked as a commercial pilot for Menhaden Industry for 20 years and later retired as a welder from Metal Forms. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bridge City and a Baptist by faith. Vick was an excellent artist and woodworker.
Vick is survived by his wife, Linda Wall Cuccia of Orange; son, Chet Cuccia of Orange; sister, Pearl Secrist; brothers, Milton and Roger Mahon; and cousins, Preston Arrington, Frances Strong and Louis Miller
