LCM CISD to offer paraprofessional training program
Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD will offer a training program entitled, “Treasuring Our Paraprofessionals,” on Oct. 12, 19, 26, and Nov. 2.
The purpose of the training is to assist applicants for teacher aide positions to meet the paraprofessional requirements set forth in the No Child Left Behind Act for schools receiving Title I funds. The training is open to the public for any person with a high school diploma, or its equivalent, who is interested in applying for teacher aide positions with the LCM District, but who has not completed a minimum of 48 college credit hours.
