Representatives of more than 20 college and universities will be in the Carl Parker Center at Lamar State College-Port Arthur from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, to answer questions and pass out literature about their schools to prospective students.
High school students and their parents are invited to attend this free event.
Tom Neal, vice president for Student Services, said, “It’s never too early for high school students to start planning where they want to go after graduation. We are very pleased to host this event, which will be a great opportunity for them to get information about lots of schools all in one evening.”
Participating schools include the University of Texas, UT-Dallas, UT-Tyler, the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M-Galveston, Stephen F. Austin State University, Sam Houston State University, Texas Tech University, The Art Institute, Texas Wesleyan University, Louisiana State University, Howard Payne University, Huston-Tillotson University, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, DeVry University, Northwood University, Northwestern State University and Lamar University.
