Austin man added to Top 10 Most Wanted list
An Austin man who is wanted for murder has been added to the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list. Police are also seeking his girlfriend. Both are wanted by the Austin Police Department in connection with a murder in Austin on Nov. 20, 2010.
Texas CrimeStoppers is offering a $7,500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of John Junior Godinez Pesina III, 27, a member of the Texas Syndicate gang. You do not have to give your name when providing a tip.
Pesina is believed to be accompanied by his girlfriend, Francesca Luna, 26.
Pesina and Luna both have violent criminal histories. Pesina was released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on Nov. 10, 2010, after serving a five-year sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Texas Crime Stoppers offers rewards up to $10,000 to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in three different ways:
· Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
· Text the letters DPS—followed by your tip—to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
· Submit a tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and under their picture is a link to submit a web tip.
All calls, texts or emails are anonymous.
For more information on specific fugitives or the crimes they are accused of, please contact the local police agency in the area where the fugitive was last seen.
DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives to be featured on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list. You can find the current list—with photos—on the DPS website at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/wanted/. The list is updated as needed.
