The plaza in West Orange will come alive Dec. 6, when the community Christmas tree is lit.

The annual festivities will begin at 6 p.m. with the tree lighting and continue with a reading of “A Cajun Night Before Christmas” by Orange County Judge, Carl Thibodeaux.

Activities will take place in the plaza next door to City Hall located at 2700 Western Avenue.

There will also be Christmas caroling, refreshments in the city’s community center and a visit with old Saint Nick himself.
