Dr. Bill Leifeste, 75, of Orange, died Monday, Dec. 6 at his home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Rose of Community Church in Orange. Graveside service will be 3 p.m., at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart, Texas.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at the funeral home in Orange.

Born in Lubbock on Feb. 3, 1935, Dr. Leifeste was the son of Sam Andrew Dietrich Leifeste and Anna Lee Lassiter. He was a graduate of The University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1961, and was a dentist here in Orange until 1996. His life was his family and he enjoyed his coffee club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Dr. Sam Leifeste.

Dr. Leifeste is survived by his daughters, Cathy Leifeste and Lauren Parrish; daughter-in-law, Dr. Nina Leifeste, all of Orange; grandchildren, Mallori and Alex Parrish, Tyler and Samantha Leifeste; sisters, Dorothy Ann Craig and husband, Robert, Sharon Leifeste, and Carole Bartee and husband, Sam; brother, Sam Leifeste and wife, Jeryl; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Leifeste, Alex Parrish, Greg Duncan, John Leifeste, Chris Bartee, Bitsy Anger, Gene Atkins, Robert Craig and Sam Leifeste.
