Bridge City cheerleaders chosen for Hawaii trip
Four Bridge City High School Cheerleaders have been nominated and accepted by the Cheer Hawaii staff to attended the 2011 Invitational Cheer Hawaii USA camp at the University of Hawaii this June. Attending the camp this year will be Lari Navarro, Whitney LeBlanc, Sydnee Granger and Bailey Moore.
The CheerHawaii USA Invitational Summer Invitational is a once in a lifetime opportunity for those selected.
The cheerleaders will also have the opportunity to learn from some of the most outstanding collegiate cheer coaches in America. They will learn new cheer techniques and bring home new dances that they can teach to the rest of their squad. They will also learn how to stunt, or learn more advanced techniques and styles.
They will also have the opportunity to participate in island activities such as beach time on North Shore and Waikiki Beaches, Pearl Harbor Memorial, shopping at the famous Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, canoe paddling, hula dancing, Waikiki Trolley Ride, and Polynesian Cultural Center Hawaiian Luau and Show.
